Summary of Experience

Thomas (Tom) E. Fitzsimmons, CPA, is the Managing Partner of WebsterRogers LLP. He assumed this role on February 1, 2015 and is responsible for the day-to-day management and operations for the firm’s nine offices as well as the long-term strategic direction of the Firm.

He also serves as the Director of Audit, Accounting and Review, and Attestation Services for the Firm. Fitzsimmons began his career in the audit department of Ernst & Young and was employed in the audit department of a regional accounting firm prior to joining WebsterRogers LLP in 1996.

Fitzsimmons has over twenty-five years of experience in planning, organizing and supervising audit engagements; reviewing and documenting clients’ systems of internal controls and accounting procedures; generating and presenting letters to management recommending improvements in internal controls and accounting procedures; and preparing and reviewing financial statements.

He also is experienced in providing financial budgeting and projection services to small and medium-sized companies in a variety of industries.

Fitzsimmons is a member of the Peer Review Committee for the South Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants (SCACPA) and performs system and engagement reviews of other CPA practices.
