WebsterRogers establishes accounting scholarship at FMU

FLORENCE, S.C. – WebsterRogers LLP has established an accounting scholarship at Francis Marion University.

The WebsterRogers LLP Scholarship will be endowed in the amount of $25,000. The purpose of the scholarship is to assist outstanding students who are pursuing a degree in accounting.

The recipient must be a resident of eastern South Carolina, demonstrate financial need, have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher, and be a junior or senior. The recipient is eligible for repeat awards provided all qualifications are met. The amount of the scholarship will vary.

“A number of our key and most successful staff are graduates of Francis Marion University, including all of our professional tax staff in the Florence office. The relationship with FMU has been good for our firm. We know that they produce quality graduates, and we look forward to supporting an institution that has meant so much to members of our staff, our firm, and our community,” says Victor C.
