
The instructions on this page are primarily intended for Windows Internet Explorer users,
though most are also applicable to other browsers and Macs.
Flash
Some users may experience problems with Flash in newer versions of IE in Windows.
Microsoft has made changes to the way Flash objects are handled in IE. To activate some
menus, etc., you will need to click them once to activate them.
Browser pop-up windows
If you have a Yahoo (Google) toolbar, you may need to enable popup windows.
Follow these pictorial instructions:

To enable animations, video play, etc.
In your Explorer menu, click Tools and Internet Options

Then, click the Advanced tab in the window that opens

Scroll down until you see the Multimedia choices, shown below. Select those you want.
If pop-up windows and other functions on Web pages still don't work after you've made these changes,
ask your IT administrator to ensure that Javascript is enabled for your browser.
