Charles TalbertFLORENCE, SC – July 6, 2015 – WebsterRogers LLP Partner, Charles L. Talbert, III, CPA, CGMA has been elected to serve as the South Carolina Representative to the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) Governing Council.

Serving as WebsterRogers’ Manufacturing and Distribution Practice Leader, Mr. Talbert has extensive experience providing accounting, assurance, and business consulting services to various types of start-up and mature manufacturers, distributors, utilities, large governmental entities, not-for-profit organizations, and high net worth individuals.

Mr. Talbert has a track record of participation and leadership in associations in his profession including, AICPA, National Association of State Boards of Accountancy, South Carolina Commission on Higher Education, and South Carolina Association of CPAs. He launched his 25-year plus career after graduating summa cum laude from Wofford College, in Spartanburg, with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Accounting.
