Healthcare update- Attestation period extended from 30 days to 45 days and further clarification provided by HHS

The HHS Provider Relief Fund attestation has been extended to 45 days.  The attestation link has been updated to remove the confusing statement regarding “allocation calculation.”

CARES Act Provider Relief Fund Payment Attestation Portal

Providers who have been allocated a payment must use this portal to sign an attestation confirming receipt of the funds and agree to the terms and conditions within 45 days of payment.  Sign Attestation

Also see updated Provider Relief Fund FAQs.  There is additional clarification regarding the initial $30 billion funds to providers and the process to request for additional funds from the General Distributions and the HHS allocation method.

There are still no updates on the “reporting content and form” that will be required by HHS for accepting the funds, however it is now indicated the first quarterly report will be for calendar quarter ending June 30th.   It is important to comply with the Terms and Conditions, and maintain adequate documentation on the use of the funds and loss revenues related to COVID- 19.

It is recommended that you read all of the FAQs updates and visit the HHS Provider Relief Fund website frequently for more updates.
